This policy applies to Govit - Vietnamese Keyboard (com.migovi.govit), developed by Migovi.
Summary. Govit does not collect, transmit or sell any of your data. The app has no Internet permission, no ads, no analytics and no crash reporting. All data stays in the app's private storage on your device.
Data stored on your device only:
- Settings (input method, appearance, shortcuts) - to remember your choices.
- Learned words and phrases - for suggestions. Clear them in Settings → Suggestions → Forget learned words.
- Clipboard history (if enabled) - to paste again. Delete items or turn the feature off.
- Keyboard background picture (if chosen).
Govit does not log what you type. In password fields and fields marked private by the app (e.g. incognito mode), nothing is learned or stored. Clipboard items the system marks as sensitive (passwords, one-time codes) are not kept.
Contacts (optional). Only if you turn on contact name suggestions, Govit asks for contacts permission and reads contact names on the device to suggest them. Names are not saved to files or sent anywhere. You can turn this off or revoke the permission at any time; the rest of the app keeps working.
Backup. No cloud backup. When moving to a new phone (Android 12+), only settings and the keyboard picture are transferred. The in-app Backup writes settings to a file in a location you choose via the Android file picker; no storage permission is needed.
Sharing. No data is shared with anyone, because no data leaves your device.
Children. Govit collects no data from anyone, including children.
Deleting data. Uninstall Govit, or clear its storage in Android Settings → Apps → Govit.
Changes. Updates to this policy will be posted on this page with a new effective date.
