Apple iPhone Air - The thinnest and lightest iPhone ever
Apple iPhone Air has a slim design of only 5.6 mm, a level 5 titanium frame and is significantly lighter than before.
iPhone Air is protected by Ceramic Shield 2 on the front for 3x more scratch resistance, while the back is also reinforced with Ceramic Shield for the first time, for 4x more crack resistance.
The iPhone Air features a 6.5-inch Super Retina XDR display, supporting 120Hz ProMotion and a maximum outdoor brightness of 3000 nits - the highest level ever on an iPhone. The device is equipped with an A19 Pro processor, along with 2 new chips: N1 (supporting Wi-Fi 7, Bluetooth 6, Thread) and C1X 5G modem, providing higher performance while saving up to 30% power compared to the previous generation.
In terms of camera, the iPhone Air has a 48 MP Fusion system, supporting flexible focal lengths (28 mm and 35 mm), a 2 µm quad-pixel sensor with OIS. The 18 MP Center Stage front camera uses a square sensor for the first time, allowing for shooting or recording in both portrait and landscape modes without rotating the camera and supports 4K HDR video with advanced stabilization. Dual Capture allows simultaneous recording with both the front and rear cameras.
Thanks to an optimized internal design and new power-saving algorithms in iOS 26, iPhone Air can maintain all-day battery life. iOS 26 also integrates Apple Intelligence with live text and voice translation, intelligent on-screen search and many improvements in FaceTime, Messages, CarPlay and Apple Music.
The iPhone Air uses only eSIM, saving space and increasing security, with more than 500 global carriers supporting it. The device will have 4 color versions: space black, cloud white, light yellow and light blue, open for order from September 12 and officially sold from September 19, 2025.
Apple also introduced a series of accessories to accompany the iPhone Air such as the ultra-thin MagSafe case, polycarbonate protective frame, Crossbody strap made from recycled fiber and MagSafe battery for up to 40 hours of video playback when combined with the device. According to Apple's 2030 plan, the iPhone Air is manufactured with 35% recycled materials, including 80% recycled titanium and 100% recycled cobalt in the battery. The iPhone Air is built with 45% renewable energy in the supply chain, using a 3D printed titanium USB-C port that saves 33% of materials, while maintaining high standards for durability, repairability and long-term software support.
